This Privacy Policy explains how ScoutPro collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the ScoutPro mobile app, websites, and related services.

1. Information ScoutPro Collects

Depending on how you use the service, ScoutPro may collect:

account information such as your email address, username, and role;
profile information such as your bio, school, position, grad year, and related athlete, coach, or cinematographer details;
user content such as messages, comments, booking notes, and support requests;
photos and videos that you upload or publish through the app;
search and discovery activity, including live searches and saved search filters;
usage and analytics information such as likes, saves, reposts, shares, profile views, and product interaction events;
location information when you choose to use nearby discovery or location-dependent features.

2. How ScoutPro Uses Information

ScoutPro uses information to:

create and manage accounts;
operate athlete, coach, and cinematographer profiles;
host and deliver messages, videos, bookings, and discovery features;
process and restore subscriptions and related purchase entitlements;
improve product performance, reliability, and safety;
respond to support requests and review issues;
detect abuse, fraud, policy violations, and unauthorized access.

3. Data Linked to Your Account

ScoutPro currently treats account, content, identifier, search, usage, video, and location data as user-linked data used for app functionality and first-party analytics. ScoutPro does not use tracking for third-party advertising in the current release.

4. Sharing of Information

ScoutPro may share information:

with service providers that help operate authentication, infrastructure, storage, email, and analytics;
with other users when your profile, public content, or activity is intended to be visible to them inside the service;
when required by law, legal process, or to protect users, ScoutPro, or the public;
as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset transfer, subject to applicable law.

5. Location Information

If you grant location permission, ScoutPro may use precise location while the app is in use to power nearby discovery and related features. You can disable location access in your device settings.

6. Data Retention

ScoutPro retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain safety and security records.

7. Your Choices

You can:

update profile information inside the app where available;
manage location permissions in device settings;
manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings;
request account deletion through the app where supported.

8. Security

ScoutPro uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Children’s Privacy

ScoutPro is not intended for use in violation of applicable child privacy laws. If you believe information was submitted in a way that violates applicable law, contact ScoutPro at the address below.

10. Changes to This Policy

ScoutPro may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When material changes are made, ScoutPro may update the effective date above and provide additional notice where appropriate.
